Personal profile

He is a Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Member of Academic Committee of State Key Laboratory of Enhanced Oil Recovery of PetroChina, Member of Academic Committee of State Key Laboratory of Microbial Enhanced Oil Recovery of Sinopec, Member of Seepage Mechanics Professional Committee of chinese society of theoretical and applied mechanics, Member of Fluid Mechanics Professional Group of Beijing Mechanics Society, and Director of China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Association. Experts in major national science and technology projects, judges of National Natural Science Foundation, and experts in national science and technology awards. Winner of national key fund, leader of national major special project and 973 project. Editors and peer reviewers of various academic journals, deputy editor-in-chief of Journal of Natural Gas Engineering (JNGE) in Canada. Seepage mechanics and fluid mechanics, reservoir engineering and energy mechanics. He used to be a member of the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Mechanics Expert Committee of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Won the title of "National Excellent Science and Technology Worker" in the 6th session and "Beijing Excellent Teacher", and enjoyed the special government allowance of the State Council in 2014. He has won 1 National Science and Technology Progress Award, 10 ministerial awards, published more than 200 scientific and technological academic papers, including more than 100 SCI and EI, published 11 monographs, and won more than 10 invention patents. More than 180 scientific research achievements have been made. He has directed the training of more than 130 doctoral and master's students in fluid mechanics.


Scientific research project 

① Main research fields: seepage mechanics and oil and gas field development, multiphase flow theory and application of resource exploitation, new energy exploitation and fluid utilization technology, energy mechanics, reservoir engineering, development geology, numerical simulation technology and method of resource exploitation, engineering fluid mechanics, computational fluid mechanics, complex flow, physical-chemical fluid mechanics, multiphase flow, environmental protection and disaster prediction.

② International cooperation: I participated in oil and gas cooperation projects between China and France, Canada and Russia.

③ The scientific research projects presided over mainly include:

[1] the national "973" major basic research project (2013CB228002), the theoretical study of shale gas multi-field coupled nonlinear seepage, is under research and presided over.

[2] National Major Project-Study on Seepage Law and Productivity Prediction Method in tight oil (2016ZX05069003), under research and presided over.

[3] National Major Special Project-Study on Causes of Remaining Oil in Thick Oil Layers and Countermeasures for Tapping Potential (2016ZX05010003-004), under research and presided over.

[4] National Major Special Project-Research on Fracture Morphology and Flow Field Regulation Theory and Application of Vertical Wells in tight oil (2016ZX05072-003), under research and presided over.

[5] The National Key Fund-Basic Research on New Technology of Enhancing Oil Recovery of Low Permeability Reservoir by Functional Nano-micron Polymer (50934003) has been completed and presided over.

[6] National Major Special Project-CO2-containing Natural Gas Reservoir Development Technology (2008zx05016): Special Project-Research on the Influence of Fracture and Bottom Water on Gas Reservoir Development Effect, which has been completed and presided over.
